The four categories

Bonuses and offers — the size and the terms of the welcome offer together. A large bonus behind a heavy wagering requirement does not score well.
Software and games — the size of the library, the studios behind it, and whether live dealer tables are available to Canadian players.
Banking — deposit and withdrawal methods, minimum deposit, and how quickly a first withdrawal clears. Interac availability matters here.
Customer support — the channels offered, the hours they are staffed, and whether a real person can be reached.

Where the payout figure comes from
